If you have ever watched one of Kim’s ‘live’ Facebook videos you will know me as the ‘behind the scenes guy’!

Seriously though I am lucky enough to have a front row seat to watch the amazing things that Kim and her team have achieved over the past 7 years…. from a simple Facebook post to hosting retreats all over the world and helping women globally achieve their goals, its been one hell of a ride!

Like any start up business journey though its had its ups and down and for every ‘Tuscany retreat style amazing experience’ we have enjoyed there has also been a ‘Oh **** we are going to have to sell the house’ moment (especially when we launched the app) – which thankfully we have managed to avoid so far!!

I should listen to Kim more when she tells me ‘You can’t out train a bad diet’ (which I of course think gives me a unique insight into her clients!)

When Kim started her business I was the CEO of an Asia Pacific based manufacturing business and I was able to help her at nights mostly when it came to marketing, particularly on Facebook and social media.

Just over two years ago I decided to break away from the corporate life and spend 50% of my time working with Kim 50% of my time starting my own consulting business – JBA (which stands for John Beach Advisory… you can click here to follow me on social if you are interested in the SME business space and how to grow your business on social media). It took me a while to make the decision to ‘jump’ but I can honestly say I love it and I have learned more about life and business in the past 2 years than I did in the previous 15!

Today as Kim and her team are building her business around the world I am doing less for KB on a daily basis and working with them more in the way as I work with my other advisory clients, which is a fantastic progression and definitely means less workplace disputes!!

The best part of all this is that I am now ‘here Dad’….. for the previous 12 years I was ‘away Dad’ or ‘Where are you Dad’ and whilst I wouldn’t change a thing about my time im my previous role, I have a freedom today that allows me to spend ‘real’ time with my kids and that is something that money can’t buy!

Aside from doing my best to help Kim and the rest of my amazing clients I am a totally football (soccer) obsessed (Liverpool if you are wondering), I should definitely listen to Kim more when she tells me ‘You can’t out train a bad diet’ (which I of course think gives me a unique insight into her clients!) and I absolutely love to travel and explore interesting parts of the world.
