If you are a fan of Bolognese this is definitely a great healthy option for you – delicious!

Weight Loss / Shred / Maintain

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Turkey mince
  • 2 tsp Rice bran oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 x zucchini grated
  • 1 x carrot grated
  • 6 x button mushrooms chopped
  • 1 x can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 x 140 gram tomato paste
  • 1 x tsp oregano
  • Salt + Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup water
  • Handful of fresh basil
  • Chilli – optional

Method:

In a pan add rice bran oil, turkey mince, garlic, onions stir until mince is cooked. Add zucchini, carrot, mushrooms, tomatos, tomato paste, oregano, salt, pepper, water – bring to boil then rip apart basil leaves and add to pan, cover and simmer on low for around 20 minutes.

Serve on a bed of spinach leaves or some zucchini pasta.
