This recipe is fantastic to have ready made in the freezer. Great with coffee or just when you feel like something yummy to eat!

Maintain

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • Rock Salt
  • Baking Paper

Method:

Place the dates, tahini, coconuts oil, cardamom in food processor. Combine until a nice paste is formed. Press the paste into a loaf tin lined with baking paper and smooth the top out until even. Sprinkle with some rock salt, freeze until firm 1-2 hours. Remove from freezer, cut into small squares. Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Makes around 12 squares.
