  • 100g lean piece of steak
  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbl tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbl tamari
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 mushrooms
  • ½ lebanese cucumber
  • 1 tbl avocado


In a bowl add oregano, garlic powder, coriander, tabasco, lemon juice and tamari.

Place steak into the marinade ensure it is covered, cover bowl with cling wrap and let the steak marinated for 30 minutes.

While you wait, slice up mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, cucumber. Wash lettuce and slice up avocado. Place all salad ingredients into a bowl.

On a medium heat non-stick pan place steak and cook for 4 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking.

Once steak is cooked, place it on a cutting board and let it sit for a couple of minutes then with a sharp knife slice the piece of steak into strips and place over the salad.
