This would have to be one of my favourite recipes of all!

These balls are chocolaty and minty all at the same time, with the smoothness plus the crunch on the outside combined gives them such a mix of textures – one word YUM!!!



  • 1 cup LSA (ground Linseed, sunflower and almonds)
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 10 dates
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup cacao nibs to roll balls in


Add all ingredients EXCEPT cacao nibs into food processor, process until all ingredients are combined.

Roll mixture into small balls, then roll balls into cacao nibs then place in the fridge to set for about 30 minutes.
