If you need a chocolate fix this is the recipe for you. It is sweet without being overly so! It is high in fibre and good fats so one ball will keep you satisfied.


  • 6 medjool dates
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 tbl cacao
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Extra coconut to roll balls in


Remove seeds from dates and then cut the dates in half. In a food processor add in dates, almond meal, raspberries, coconut, cacao and vanilla essence, blend until mixture forms a ball. Roll mixture into small balls then roll them into coconut. This recipe will make 10 balls.
