These are super yummy and not overly sweet. They are high in fibre and protein and a great treat to enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can black beans (400 gms ) – drained
  • 2 tbl cacao powder
  • 6 dates chopped
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ½ cup oats
  • ¼ cup coconut oil – melted
  • 1 tbl brown rice syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup walnuts – chopped
  • Pinch of Salt

Method:

Place all ingredients except walnuts into a food processor until smooth. Fold through walnuts.

Line a baking dish with baking paper, pour mixture into baking dish and bake for 15 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius.

Let the brownies cool then cut into squares.
