Two fabulous recipes & the new love of my life!

If you have followed me for a while you will know that I am all about embracing whole natural foods, eating well but also ensuring that what is being prepared is done quickly and easily.

I run a business and have two kids so I understand the day to day pressures of preparing nutritious food when you are busy juggling work, kids and everything else that needs doing that day.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to take the Philips Airfryer for a ‘Road Test’ and I think I have fallen in love! The fact that I can put some beautiful food into the Philips Airfryer and shut the door whilst continuing on with my day is priceless.

The Philip’s Air-fryer makes preparing delicious nutritious meals really simple. It lets you bake, fry and grill all of your favourite foods with 80% less fat compared to conventional Philips fryers.

It works by circulating hot air to create prefect dishes every time. I have been experimenting with the Airfryer for a couple of weeks now and have cooked lots of different dishes both savoury and sweet and today I would like to share a couple of my favorites with you (my kids are asking for the sweet potato chips constantly).

Fish and Chips

The first dish is my ‘Kim’s Kitchen’ take on traditional fish and chips. I love that I can prepare this tasty meal without using any fat (or you can add a tablespoon if you like), the sweet potato chips are amazing (Tips for sweet potato: To remove the starch, soak the sweet potato in water for 20-30 minutes. Dry with a tea tower before placing in the Philips Airfryer) and the fish cooks so quickly and easily and falls apart in your mouth

The second dish I have been perfecting is some amazing Choc Raspberry puddings. These are served individually and have all the gooey chocolatey berry taste that you’ll love without the processed sugar.
