“I have always been active and had been going regularly to the gym for 10 years when “life” just got in the way. As a single mum with three kids, life got busier between working and running a household and driving the kids around to school, work, soccer, guitar lessons, netball, etc, I found no time left for myself. The first thing to go was my exercise and with the busier school nights, dinners were quick and not very nutritious! By the end of the school year I was exhausted, a couple of kgs heavier and fed up. This was 2014.
There was no way I was going to spend another year like that and there was no way I was going up a dress size! My eldest daughter then got her driver’s license and life started to get a bit easier. I finally had a bit more time to myself and I started back at the gym. After a few months with minimal change and bored with my old routines, I wanted to ramp up my training. To mix up my training I googled different exercises which was time consuming and I did some PT sessions which was expensive. I just wanted someone to tell me what to do so I didn’t have to think about it.
Kim Beach kept popping up on my Facebook and I read about her “No Limits” program. This was exactly what I was looking for! It was not only affordable but realistic. The day by day nutrition and exercise program was so easy to follow. The meals were basic, quick and easy with no exotic ingredients, just real food. Learning how to fuel my body and my workouts was the key to my results and what I had been missing.
In less than 8 weeks, the “No Limits” program totally transformed my body. I lost kgs and cms and gained strength and definition. The program was strict and tough but I was committed and determined to see how far I could push my body. I was so happy with the results and took the opportunity to meet and thank Kim personally when she was in Perth speaking at the Fitness Expo. (pic attached). Listening to Kim’s talk on fitness was motivational and inspirational. Two things Kim said that stuck with me were to “be consistent” and that “fitness doesn’t have to be an all or nothing approach”. This has been my attitude to my fitness since completing “No Limits” and I now balance my lifestyle by following the 80/20 rule (eating well 80% of the time and indulging 20%).
Over the following years, I purchased Kim’s other programs “No Excuses “and “No Excuses Life” for the different meal ideas and weight training exercises which I rotate and mix up each month. Being part of the private Facebook group is a fantastic support tool and a great way of meeting new friends and sharing your journey with like-minded women.
After two years of following Kim’s nutrition and exercise principles , I feel stronger, fitter and healthier than ever. If you are thinking of joining one of Kim’s programs, just do it! You won’t look back!
